The 3rd Annual All Nations Indian Relay Championships concluded on Wrangler Championship Day in Billings, Montana September 20, 2015. The Professional Indian Horse Racing Association sanctioned event broke attendance records in Metra Park in the four days of racing. The champion jockey of Omak Express Tyler Peasly, Colville Confederated Tribes from Omak, Washington spoke to us for Word With a Champ.
The monster truck racing industry celebrates 40 years since its inception. Marvin Anderson of Colonna, British Columbia, Canada has been a driver for 25 years and has watched the American made sport grow. Marvin discussed the technical aspects that have improved the safety and entertainment factors involved. His interest in the youth and future of his sport are obvious with his encouragement of people to get in monster truck racing, yet put their education first and finish school.
Straight forward, is a way to describe JW Hart, a PBR bull riding star and commentator. JW discusses his success riding bulls and how it is due to the simple concept and word, try. It was fun to visit with JW and his wife Leanne, on a weekend they endorsed a Miniature World Tour stop, for young cowboys and cowgirls including their children.
