The 2011 World Champion Bull Rider, Shane Proctor of Washington is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. He is in a league of his own when it comes to making minion both the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Professional Bull Riders. Shane grew up on the Colville Indian reservation and is a fine example of a professional athlete’s, athlete.
Dusty Tuckness of Meeteetse, Wyoming was elected PRCA Bull Fighter of the Year, eight of the nine years he has been voted to protect Bull Riders at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. This interview reveals one of the most intense professional athletes you could find and as modest a gentleman anywhere . His opponents are the largest, most aggressive animals in sports, ProRodeo bucking bulls. A learning opportunity for listeners and I, on this weeks Word With A Champ.
Cowboy Lifestyle Network has dynamic reporters with Gretchen Kirchmann and her 10 year old daughter Allison Grace. The duo can be seen from Las Vegas, NV to Lincoln, NE covering rodeo sports and the western culture. There are few that display as much enthusiasm and professionalism in their trade. It was fun to interview the two very bright and beautiful young ladies for this weeks episode of Word With A Champ.
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Annual World Championships are hard earned to say the least. A dollar is a point all year long during the season to be a top 15 qualifier in each of 7 events for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. The total of money won for the season and Wrangler NFR determines the champs. We had the privilege of interviewing PRCA World Champions Corey Petska, Team Roper, partner for Navajo Erich Rogers and Utah’s young Saddle Bronc Riding gold buckle winner, Ryder Wright, on this weeks Word With A Champ.
