Oklahoma native Matt West, is a professional announcer for the Professional Bull Riders and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, and is a voice of pro rodeo, and, armed with a lifelong fascination of the cowboy lifestyle, strives to keep audiences informed and entertained across the United States and Canada. We appreciate Matt taking the time to visit with us about the excitement and 2018 competition in the PBR.
J.W. Hart’s 15-year professional riding career netted a host of honors, including 1994 Rookie of the Year, 2002 World Champion, and 2004 Challenger Tour Champion. The original “Iron Man,” Hart rode in a then-record 197 consecutive BFTS events, and was inducted into the Ring of Honor in 2009. He now raises bulls and works the broadcast booth as an announcer. A fun interview with a bonafide cowboy that won’t hardly recognize past accolades and tells it like it is.
Sicangu Lakota Indian Cowboy Cooper Waln from the Rosebud Reservation in south-central South Dakota is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. Cooper represents Indian Country with the most elite job in his trade, fighting bulls on the 25th Professional Bull Riders “Unleash the Beast Tour”. A great visit to share from this very modest and talented working ranch cowboy that had made it to the big times.
Mixed Martial Arts fighter Johnny Case is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. A flamboyant individual in and out of the cage, Johnny is a fun interview. In the 4 Bears Casino MMA Fight Night “Beatdown 21” in New Town, North Dakota. Arizona’s Johnny “Hollywood” Case defeated Bryan Longono from Georgia by TKO in the main event. Johnny shares his insight to success for friends and fans.
