Chickasaw, Choctaw, Tom Hahn is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. This is the second of a three part series featuring three generations of excellence in dirt track midget and sprint car racing. Tom is a former driver now crew chief of the Oil Fire Sprits Special very successfully driven by his son Blake. We enjoyed our time and interview with the talented gentlemen that endorses auto racing as a family sport at the 33rd Annual Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dirt track midget car racing driver Blake Hahn of the Creek Nation is our guest this week on Word With A Champ. This is the first of three episodes featuring three generations of excellence in racing from this family in Native America, Oklahoma. Blake combines racing styles, like his grandfather Emmett Hahn, very smooth; high and aggressive like my dad, Benny”Wahoo”Taylor; even perfecting the slide for life as Harold Leep. Blake provides a sharp and interesting interview prior to climbing in and winning with #52, in the Oil Fire Special.
Ote Berry is a four time World Champion and Hall of Fame Steer Wrestler in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Mr. Berry endured the physical and financial hardships en route to stardom in a merciless sport that tends to make colleagues seem like family. It has been a privilege to watch Ote from college days to now, in his success creating a Jr. Steer Wrestling League, supporting the youth and future of our sport and country. We are happy to have this man that is big, fast and smart, with a lions heart, this week on Word With A Champ.
